Council Amends Animal Control Ordinances

The Clarion City Council adopted Ordinances 592 and 593, Amending Chapters 55 & 56 of the Code of Ordinances for the City of Clarion, Iowa, at the Tuesday April 16th council meeting. Seeking to fill the position of Deputy City Clerk
This is a Full-Time position that is located daily at Clarion City Hall. Salary Range of $32,000 - $36,000, depending on experience and qualifications with an excellent benefits package.
Position provides administrative support to the City Administrator, Mayor, Council and other City staff, boards and commissions. Responsible for assigned duties depending on how it is separated out (Duties could include: Utility Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Payroll) General customer service skills, informing the public of city policies and procedures, attending meetings and reporting on them in form of official minutes.
Individuals to be considered will have five (5) years of bookkeeping/accounting experience. Preferred that experience be in a municipality with knowledge in Simple City local government software. Strong organizational and secretarial skills.
