City of Clarion seeks to fill a full-time position as Accounts Payable Clerk. Salary ranges from $35,000 - $45,000, depending on experience and qualifications, benefit package also included.
Position provides administrative support to the City Administrator, Mayor, Council and other City staff, boards and commissions. Responsible for assigned duties which include but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Payroll. General customer service skills, informing the public of city policies and procedures, attending meetings and reporting on them in form of official minutes.
Individuals to be considered will have two (2) years of bookkeeping/accounting experience. Preferred experience in basic government knowledge and municipality software. Strong organizational and secretarial skills.
